Marie and Twanette’s Cafe and Bakery was born as a collaboration between sisters Teresa Blalock and Judy Early. Teresa and Judy were raised in Catawba County, and have fostered a love of baking, the gift of hospitality, and an entrepreneurial spirit since their childhoods.
Marie and Twannette's Bakery and Cafe, located on the square in beautiful Down Town Newton, offers something for everyone. Our bakery includes a full service cake shop, a variety of fresh baked goods, and freshly brewed gourmet coffee. Specialty drinks are also available, including hand spun milk shakes. We also offer a full lunch menu featuring gourmet Deli sandwiches made with premium Boars Head meat and Cheeses. Our salads and spreads are homemade on site with only the freshest ingredients.
