When the computer goes to sleep, try pushing the power button on the computer and see if it comes back on.

My granddaughter was playing on my computer and now when my computer goes to sleep and I click on my mouse the computer monitor goes to sleep does now turn the monitor on. I know there is a way to fix this but I do not know how. Can some body help me? Thank you.
