The West Virginia-based, husband and wife-led band is comprised of vocalist / banjo player Jim Gabehart, vocalist / guitarist Valerie Gabehart, mandolin player Brandon Shuping, and bassist John "Buckwheat" Green.

Jim and Valerie are best known to bluegrass audiences in their home state of West Virginia and surrounding states. Jim is a five time West Virginia State Banjo Champion and has performed on stage with Ricky Scaggs, The Whites, Mac Wiseman, Larry Sparks, John Hartford, Ray Charles and many more. Valerie is a superb vocalist and described by Bluegrass Unlimited as �a gutty, dynamic singer (with) major league talent.�
