Try resetting the cmos battery and jumper if it has one and see if that fixes your problem.

please help.. my computer, gateway, running windows 7xp been working fine. went to turn it on and the monitor wont come on, the light on the monitor on/off button just flashes. have tried disconnecting and turning on and off, no change.. please help.
